On May 26, 2001 our group left First Presbyterian Church in Denton, TX. We spent one week in Piedras Negras, Mexico. During that time, our group built a house through CPC. The following are a few pictures.
Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. The group is ready to go.
Mac (our group leader) talks to all of the groups at orientation on Sunday evening. Diane, the founder of CPC, sits waiting her turn at the microphone.
Monday morning around 7:00 a.m. The foundation and first course are laid and the rest of the blocks are stacked up in front ready to move.
Linda talks with Alma, the future owner of the house as the house starts to take shape. The doors are waiting in the back and the window is "framed".
